Despite All The Crazy Shit Swirling Around Him...
I still think Obama's got the upper hand to win...
and if:
a) the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan stays calm enough for the US to lay low in those shitholes...
b) the unemployed keep getting their checks...
c) the price of gas stays at $3.09 or lower...
I'll bet the bank that Obama wins in November.

I don't think you're that far off Bill.

a) Yes.
b) I think if the Republicans obstruct unemployment insurance, that might reflect on them rather than the president.
c) Why particularly $3.09? Why not $3.50?

Why not $20?
And the thing you either don't know about or care to know is, when the unemployment renewal comes back up the democrats will put many 'poison pills' in the bill to ensure the gop opposes the bill. Thats election year politics and its apparent you will be a willing dupe for it. What are you, like 12 years old or something?

Point out where these poison pills will be in the future, and I'll try to care.

I don't expect the issue of unemployment checks to resurface before the election... I just mentioned it because, as long as the unemployed receive their checks, they won't be upset enough to vote Obama out...
and as far as the gas price goes, it's purely psychological... $3.09 is close enough to $3.00 to be considered "three-dollar gas"... and if it stays at that level or lower, that, my friends, is what's gonna keep Romney from winning the election...

Isn't that the whole point? Not only are you not paying attention, you don't even care. For you repubs = bad; dems = good no matter what. Perfectly and recently indoctrinated I'll bet. You don't think any beyond what they taught in school and probably getting ready for college in the same mindset.
I'll also note they have you dependent upon me and people like me to keep you informed, totally eliminating any critical thought and incentive on your part. Making you essentially, a robotic drone. Just what they wanted.

I am sure everyone is a swell guy or gal. That doesn't dismiss the observation. You can be a swell guy and still be a programmed bot.

At this point there isn't any proposed legislation about unemployment insurance. Why are we getting all worked up, anyways?
By the way, the majority of Republicans deserve praise for passing the student loan interest rate extension.
