Which IS my answer to her question, which was:

~Pessimist Or Optimist??
Which do you see yourself as??
Or are you maybe a bit of both??
The Pygmalion effect is the self-fulfilling prophesy. It involves always being sincerely positive and positively sincere. Therefore, for me the glass is never half anything, it's always overflowing. There's no pessimism or optimism.

It just is. What stands out is how you approach and deal with it.

Anything put as black and white is stupid, pointless, and completely unrealistic. Many people see realism as pessimistic but the two are very different, then there's the pragmatic, there's also the philosopher, the theological, etc. Nothing fits into "either/or" as well, there's a million colors in a rainbow for a reason.

I am optimistic that pessimists will one day become optimists.

I am pessimistic when I can find no way out and I am optimistic when i can see a way out. So it depends on the state of being for my state of mind.

Optimistic pessimist. Wide-eyed cynic. Happy curmudgeon.
