I've gotta say, perhaps the Romney camp has focus group tested this and thinks it is best to keep these guys nagging about these records, making them look petty, rather than releasing them and letting them move on. It's also possible that he is pulling an Obama Birth Certificate back at them. Let them bitch until the debates, then whip them out at the debate and say "Here you go, now where are your college records?"

Actually, it was Congress' deal until Obama evoked executive privilege and sealed the records. Now he owns it.

I meant that it's Congress that has to deal with getting those records, it's not Mitt Romney's task.

I wasn't suggesting that, I was merely offering a rhetorical device for Romney to maybe use. It's hypocritical for the most secretive (besides advantageous leaks) President in history to be wailing about tax returns beyond those required by law, while at the same time covering up likely wrongdoing by his Justice Department.
