 I know the place you're referencing, and they don't have anyone techie enough to get into your computer per se - but they CAN tell what cookies were assigned where at various times, the vBulletin software keeps track of that. The place you're referencing became essentially a nanny state several years ago.

I have.. I didn't like it at all..just sayin...  I think we all have on forums. We all need to have our limits there as there are some things up with which we should not have to put. IRL? Not so much. But I have a neighbor who has endured many false accusations due to bad blood in a homeowner situation. The last one he was tired of the local political structure and asked for a jury trial. It took about 10minutes to aquit him of indecent exposure. I'm looking into getting him some help to address these things.
