Another unannounced press conference to keep the press corps off their mark. He's also taking questions from the newbies, so that their questions will be most pro-forma.

Still they are all asking multi-part questions when they get their opportunity; Of course the president, the brillian man that he is - and unlike president Bush - is only able to respond to the first part of the questions.

Bush could tick off 3 even four part questions, because he was actually vey sharp, and had that kind of all inclusive mind.

I'm waiting for a question that really challenges the president, like all the leaks that that have happened of late that shore up his tough image on national security, going to questions by people of his own party like Diane Feinstein, etal. And now he's getting one....
(but of course "first of all I'm not going to comment on what are supposed to be classified matters [of national security]...

One question on that issue, an oblique self serving answer, and he ends it. I'm not surprised; he had that "deer in the headlights look" as he rambled along.

To suggest that leaks were coming out of this White House is offensive.
